How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

I got TiVo!

Well, after 140 bucks to have a phone jack installed in my living room, and 200 bucks for a DVR, I finally will have TiVo in the morning (too tired to deal with wires tonight). I'm freakin psyched! I will be TiVo-ing everything. Big Brother, American Chopper, INXS, Myth Busters, and all other wicked ass cool shows that I always forget to watch because I'm an idiot. No more will I be in my car at 8:15 punching myself in the head because I forgot to record Big Brother. Yeah, I'm a TV nut... I love the idiot box...

hahaha...Anywhoooo....some nasty weather rolled through here last night and today....temps. dropped no less than 50 degrees in less than 45 minutes last night....but was too dark to watch for funnels, but i saw 17 today as another wave came through.....hopefully, it will slide norht of you......wasnt very pleasant.....so much for summer! Farmers' dry bean fields are already turning yellow, and so are some of the trees.....interesting...... Later bro....

I paid 6 or 8 hundred dollars for my first VCR (1980'ish)

so ... I know nothing about the technology ... it's a harddrive .. records in MPEG (basically)

how big is the storage space and how much HD space does a 1 hour show take up

I'm not that TV oriented anymore ... prefer computer pursuits these days ... I've had a DVD\VCR player sitting at the end of my bed for a couple years I haven't bothered to hook up
